Dugan Psychiatry is breaking the mold in what it means to truly get the help you deserve. They have gone above and beyond in my care and have been so patient over the last couple weeks while I've asked questions and argued with insurance. Tiffany is a wonderful part of the experience with her kind demeanor, attention to detail, and prompt answering. Shawn Dugan himself is a miracle of a human with his dedication, attentiveness, and compassion. Dugan Psychiatry showed me that psychiatry doesn't have to be cold, detached, and calculated. They've shown me that I CAN be listened to. They've shown me that I CAN ask questions and that I DO have a choice in my treatment plan. I was not simply given a pill and told to swallow. Shawn gave me a choice, asked for my input, and we came up with a plan TOGETHER. I never once felt dismissed. I didn't feel belittled, or like I was given a diagnosis based on stereotypes and stigma. I felt heard, I felt safe, I felt comfortable.
